I have worked with parrots for nearly 20 years and have been to many pet stores And Breeding facilities that sell birds and supplies, this has to be the cleanest one I’ve been to. The staff is simply Amazing!! There is no doubt they all have a passion for birds. Every bird here is so well socialized and healthy. The staff is knowledgeable about all the different species and works patiently with customers to assure a good fit. We recently bought our Congo Grey Charlie from them and could not be more pleased!!!

We welcomed Sweetie a few weeks ago to Louisville. First time ever I purchased an animal out of state. She arrived happy and healthy via her Delta airlines ride. She is still mastering the perch on my finger, but loves rubs and will walk on my open hand. She chirps and plays and seems to have gotten accommodated to our new noises. Eli was very responsive by text and phone with questions and her acclimation here with us after her arrival. Definitely recommend Eli and his birds!

We found TMBE on Google and decided to take the drive, you will not regret visiting this store. EXTREMELY clean, the staff was absolutely amazing, a HUGE variety of birds. We went there just to look and meet birds we haven’t gotten the chance to meet and ended up leaving with a B&G macaw. All the birds are so socialized and friendly, you could handle every bird in the store, not to mention the huge variety of toys and stands. We will never go anywhere else. This is “Lil Burt” we are working on a new name

Eli is the best! His birds are extremely well cared for and happy. Eli will patiently answer any and all questions, never makes you feel like an imposition or stupid. When I picked up our baby African Grey, Eli was happy he was going to a permanent home yet seemed a little sad that he was leaving also. You can just tell how much he cares for them all. If I get another bird (currently have 3) it’ll be from Chester Parrots!

Great place to get a baby! (I refer to birds as babies cuz they’re so cute and full of love lol) I got my black Lori from Chester Parrots a couple years ago and I still have this beautiful girl with me. She is just the sweetest and if you have any questions he readily answers it. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! If you’re figuring out where to get your baby I would recommend coming here

I absolutely LOVE parrot stars! It’s definitely one of my happy places 😂 seriously all of the workers are amazing. You can see the passion they have in their eyes and you can see how well taken care of all the birds are in the store! Also, Alexis and Joyce will tell it like it is! They tell you the absolute truth about whichever breed you are looking at. They aren’t just looking to make a sale, they want their babies to find forever homes! It also helps that they have TONS of bird toys, treats and food. I always end up spending over an hour looking around! One of the best bird places ever 💕
